987 3.4S intake plenum

We started studying these as well and seeing what we could do to improve performance on these engines as well with just bolt ons before we start applying on deeper mods we have seen other options on the market but none will have the experience on intake design we currently have from well known results on other engines we worked on.

we know how crucial an intake is for an engine as it allows all the air in and if done right gains can be seen all over the curve. on our plenum solution we keep the rear original resonance flap for better torque curve.

On our plenum testing no calibration was changed on ecu so the gains you observe is the gains you see, test subject had a full performance exhaust fitted prior to work and we found standard air filter to be very restrictive so we removed it on testing for both tests. to stop other variations we had disabled vvt so ecu couldn’t shift cam timing to affect the curve
