we have developed this intake thinking about heat inside engine bay on these 6 cyl along with more extreme use on track as normally they can suffer from heat soaking. there are some other solutions with heat shield but from multiple dyno tests we arrived to the conclusion its good to have some extra length on intake. we have length tune our intake to get a good compromise that allows us to have a gain all across the rev range. tested on the road and racing not only better power everywhere but also better throttle response on any rpm unlike some cases with shorter tube.
