BMW M42/M44 Stage 2
This tune changes drastically the way the car drives, the engine will have a peppier response and will go through the rpm with much more urgency . On this tune our main aim was to improve top end performance without losing any of the lower down response. On partial throttle, the car also has a different behaviour where it will almost feel like you are driving a lighter car.
Tune includes:
Ported throttle body(not bigger throttle blades)
Camshaft timing
Rocker cover gasket
Fuel pressure change
Ecu software
Dyno before and after
Power gain is usually 10/12% with a noticeable torque increase on a large area of the curve

*Tested subject was a very good example very low mileage engine that already had a performance exhaust fitted. without the performance exhaust around 5whp less then produced in this case
